<br />"'-..- <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 97- L <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA <br />ADOPTING A GENERAL FUND OPERATING AND CAPITAL BUDGET <br />FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JUNE 16, 1997 AND ENDING <br />SEPTEMBER 30, 1997; PROVIDING FOR POST AUDIT; PROVIDING <br />FOR EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS APPROPRIATED IN THE BUDGET; <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in lieu of a City Manager who has not yet been hired, the Mayor presented <br />to the City Commission a General fund Operating and Capital Budget for the Fiscal Year <br />commencing June 16, 1997 and ending September 30, 1997, pursuant to Section 3.2 of the City <br />Charter and the City Commission scheduled a public hearing, as required by Florida Statutes, to <br />be held on September 11, 1997; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 10 <br /> <br />Budiet Adoptiono That the General Fund Operating and Capital <br /> <br />Budget for the Fiscal year commencing June 16, 1997 and ending September 30, 1997, attached <br /> <br />as Exhibit "A", is hereby adopted. <br /> <br />Section 20 <br /> <br />Post Audit Providedo Pursuant to Section 4010 of the City Charter <br /> <br />and Section 218.23 (1)(b), the City Commission hereby provides for annual post audits of the <br /> <br />City's financial accounts. The City Manager, when hired, is authorized to take all steps necessary <br /> <br />to cause such post audit to be made by a certified public accountant or firm of such accountants <br /> <br />in accordance with law. <br /> <br />Section 30 <br /> <br />Expenditure of Funds Apprqpriatedin the Budlet Authorized.
