<br />ORDINANCE NO. 97-7 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA <br />ESTABLISHING THE OPERATING DEPARTMENTS OF <br />THE CITY; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach is adopting a fiscal <br />budget for October 1, 1997 through September 30, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, funds have been allocated in that budget to various departments of the city <br />government that must be created as provided herein. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. City Departments Createdo For the purpose of systematically and efficiently <br /> <br />administering the operations of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, the following departments of <br /> <br />government within the City are hereby established: <br /> <br />1. Office of the City Manager; <br />20 Finance and Support Services; <br />3. Law Department; <br />4. City Clerk's Office; <br />50 Planning, Building and Zoning; <br />7. Community Services. <br />80 Public Safety Department <br /> <br />Section 20 Severability.
