<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2000- <6 t <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 97-7 ESTABLISHING THE OPERATING <br />DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 25, 1997, by Ordinance No. 97-7, the City Commission <br />created certain departments for the purpose of systematically and efficiently administering the <br />operations of the City of Sunny Isles Beach; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the operating budget and the functioning of the City now demands the <br />revision of City departments; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 97-7 is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />City Departments Created. For the purpose of systematically and efficiently <br />administering the operations of the City of Sunny Isles Beach the following <br />departments of government within the City are hereby established. <br /> <br />1. Office of the City Manager <br />2. Finance afld Support Services Department <br />3. Law Department Office of the City Attorney <br />4. Office of the City Clerk!.s QfHee <br />5. Planning, Building and Zoning Department <br />6. Comm-unity Serviees Administrative Services Department <br />7. Public Safety Department <br />8. Public Works Department <br />9. Recreation Department <br />10. Human Resources Department <br /> <br />Section 2. Effective Date.
