Page | 9 <br /> <br /> <br /> 174th Street <br />Pedestrian Park Bridge Feasibility Study <br />MDT provided a listing of the peak hours for Route 120 Beach Max transit boardings and <br />alightings at 174th Street, which assisted in choosing the eight hours that pedestrian crossings <br />were counted. MDT indicated that the top eight hours for boardings and alightings for Route 120 <br />were as follows: <br />Weekday: <br />1. 6 am to 7 am <br />2. 7 am to 8 am <br />3. 8 am to 9 am <br />4. 10 am to 11 am <br />5. 11 am to noon <br />6. 2 pm to 3pm <br />7. 4 pm to 3 pm <br />8. 5 pm to 6 pm <br />Saturday: <br />1. 6 am to 7 am <br />2. 8 am to 9 am <br />3. Noon to 1 pm <br />4. 1 pm to 2 pm <br />5. 2 pm to 3 pm <br />6. 3 pm to 4 pm <br />7. 4 pm to 5 pm <br />8. 6 pm to 7 pm <br /> <br />24 Hour bidirectional daily volume counts were also collected on State Road A1A/Collins Avenue <br />south of 174th Street. Turning movement counts were taken at the intersection of State Road <br />A1A/Collins Avenue at NE 174th Street from 8 am to 9am, and 3pm to 6pm on the weekday, and <br />the hours of 11am to noon, 2 pm to 3 pm, and 4 pm to 6 pm on Saturday. Pedestrian crossings <br />at the intersection were collected along with the vehicle movements. <br />A summary of the traffic data collection including the ADT traffic volumes are in Appendix A, and <br />pedestrian crossing information can be found in Appendix D. <br />
