CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA) NO. 20-07-01 <br />7 <br />City of <br />D. Project Approach and Understanding <br />RADISE understands that this contract is to provide geotechnical and CEI related services under a Continuing Services <br />Contract with the City of Sunny Isles Beach, in accordance with Florida’s Consultants’ Competitive Negotiations Act, <br />and the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in the Request for Qualifications. Selection shall be in <br />accordance with the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), Florida Statues Section 287.055. RADISE <br />proposes to the provide geotechnical and inspection related services as required by the City. <br /> <br />RADISE recognizes that a vital part of this Contract will depend on assigning to the City the highest qualified staff who <br />possess multifaceted skill sets, especially since there may be several concurrent tasks. We are dedicated to providing <br />the highest quality service to the City from the start of the project/Task Order until completion. <br /> <br />General Approach to Scope of Work <br />The RADISE Core Project Staff will create a management work plan for every Task Order assigned to us by the City. <br />This plan will help assure the proper management communication and execution of the assigned work. <br /> <br />The anticipate steps and key items for these plans typically consist of: <br /> Work Request Scope and Work Initiation <br /> Work Execution <br /> Work Scheduling <br /> Project Management and Communication <br /> Quality Assurance / Quality Control <br /> <br />Work Request Scope and Work Initiation – Setting the Budget and Schedule <br /> <br />The City typically would present a request for service. RADISE will reply <br />with a scope of service proposal including time and manpower estimates. <br />The City shall then either negotiate an acceptable scope of service and <br />cost, or accept the RADISE proposal. The work is considered approved <br />by the City upon RADISE’s receipt of a Notice to Proceed, or a purchase <br />order. RADISE will maintain a log of all requests for service detailing the <br />request number, request name/description date the request was <br />received, the date the proposed scope was sent to the City, and the date <br />approved by the City. <br /> <br />During the work request scope proposal process, RADISE will evaluate <br />the request and determine the appropriate engineering and testing <br />components required, along with the personnel skills and knowledge <br />necessary to complete the request. The full scope of service proposal <br />will include time and manpower estimates along with the associated <br />costs. <br />
