BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />The North County Neighborhood Improvement Project, Northeast Quadrant, Bid Package 10 includes <br />approximately 213 acres of land between Dixie Highway and Federal Highway, North of Sample Road in <br />Pompano Beach. Craven Thompson performed drainage modeling for this project using software known as <br />Interconnected and Pond Routing (ICPR). The program inputs were the with the 10-year/1-day, 25-year/3-day <br />and 100-year/3-day storm events. The drainage systems designed, permitted and constructed consisted of <br />exfiltration trench, re-grading of swales, upsizing of piping, new piping and structures connected to existing <br />systems. This project required coordination with several different municipalities and agencies including the <br />Broward County Surface Water Management, and South Florida Water Management District. <br />The project included: <br />▪ 47,520 linear feet of roadway reconstruction, <br />▪ and 53,460 linear feet of sidewalk construction. <br />Also, included were: <br />▪ 15,283 linear feet of swale, <br />▪ 6,508 linear feet of storm sewer, <br />▪ and 8,074 linear feet of exfiltration trench. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />25.
