<br />24. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost)
<br />Craven Thompson provided surveying, analysis, assessment for
<br />repair/replacement of existing storm water management systems,
<br />preparation of construction documents and permitting, bidding
<br />assistance, and construction services for the Plantation Isles
<br />Neighborhood. The neighborhood is 448 acres in size and is
<br />bounded the Peters Road to the north, the Florida Turnpike to the
<br />east, Royal Palm Estates to the west, and I-595 to the south.
<br />Improvements included:
<br />▪ 3,150 LF of swale re-grading,
<br />▪ 5,359 LF of storm sewer removal,
<br />▪ removal of 161 storm drainage structures,
<br />▪ the installation of 2,217 LF of 15” diameter storm sewer,
<br />▪ 471 LF of 18” diameter storm sewer,
<br />▪ 429 LF of 24” diameter storm sewer,
<br />▪ 576 LF of 30” diameter storm sewer,
<br />▪ 828 LF of 36” diameter storm sewer,
<br />▪ 321 LF of 42” diameter storm sewer,
<br />▪ 101 LF of 48” diameter storm sewer,
<br />▪ 116 LF of 72” diameter storm sewer.
<br />▪ removal and replacement of 5 outfalls,
<br />▪ installation of 160 – 30” diameter ADS drainage structures.
<br />The project also included C.I.P.P. lining of:
