REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NO. 20-07-01
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA)

TAB F: FIRM REFERENCES AND SIMILAR WORK COMPLETED

Kingfisher Canal Outfall Treatment Structure Project
Deerfield Beach, Florida

Description of Work
The proposed improvements consist of combining both the
twenty-four (24”) inch and seventy-two (72”) inch systems
together in SE 9th Avenue. Installation of a CDS, water
quality structure in-line with the seventy-two (72”) inch pipe
after the two systems combine. The work included removing
the existing drainage structure on the seventy-two (72”) inch
pipe at SE 9th Avenue and replacing it with a large structure
to accommodate both pipes and the installation of the CDS
structure. The in-line system has an internal by-pass within
the water quality treatment device. If there is ever a
blockage in the by-pass within the device, the system will
back up and spill out of the catch basins located along both
drainage systems and drain into the canal by overland flow.
The CDS structure is ten (10’) foot in diameter and will
accommodate the combined flow from both systems.

CLIENT CONTACT:
Mr. Tom Good
Environmental Services Director
City of Deerfield Beach
Environmental Services / Engineering
200 Goolsby Blvd.
Deerfield Beach, Florida 33442
Phone: (954) 480-4432
Fax: (954) 480-4345
Email: tgood@deerfield-beach.com
CTA PERSONNEL ON PROJECT:
Patrick Gibney, P.E.
Luis Pimentel, P.E.
Richard Pryce, P.S.M.
Nicholas Messina, Jr., P.S.M.
Ray Young, P.S.M.
David Reyes
PROJECT DURATION:
2017 - 2019

F | Page 11
