<br />El Dorado Neighborhood Drainage Improvements | Plantation, Florida | Project Manager. Craven
<br />Thompson provided surveying, analysis, assessment for repair/replacement of existing storm water
<br />management systems, preparation of construction documents and permitting, bidding assistance, and
<br />construction services for the El Dorado Neighborhood. The neighborhood is 123 acres in size, bounded
<br />by the Plantation Golf Estates Neighborhood to the northeast, W. Broward Blvd. to the north, S. University
<br />Drive to the west, and the Royal Palm Estates neighborhood to the south. Improvements include: 3,072
<br />LF of swale re-grading, 1,963 LF of storm pipe removal, the installation of 930 LF of 15” diameter storm
<br />sewer, 160 LF of 18” diameter storm sewer, 768 LF of 24” diameter storm sewer, 105 LF of 30”
<br />diameter storm sewer, and the installation of 48 – 30” diameter ADS drainage structures.
<br />City of Fort Lauderdale – WW2011 Program | Fort Lauderdale, Florida
<br />Project Lead for design services related to City’s Capital Improvements Program which included
<br />approximately $636 million in utilities infrastructure repair, replacement, and upgrades. The program
<br />includes analysis, modeling and design for improvements to water and wastewater facilities in meeting a
<br />comprehensive plan in response to expanded demand and service areas.
<br />Plantation Isles Neighborhood Drainage Improvements | Plantation, Florida | Project Manager
<br />Lead Craven Thompson provided surveying, analysis, assessment for repair/replacement of existing
<br />storm water management systems, preparation of construction documents and permitting, bidding
<br />assistance, and construction services for the Plantation Isles Neighborhood. The neighborhood is 448
<br />acres in size and is bounded by Peters Road to the north, the Florida Turnpike to the east, Royal Palm
<br />Estates to the west, and I-595 to the south. Improvements include: 3,150 LF of swale re-grading, 5,359
<br />LF of storm sewer removal, removal of 161 storm drainage structures, the installation of 2,217 LF of 15”
<br />diameter storm sewer, 471 LF of 18” diameter storm sewer, 429 LF of 24” diameter storm sewer, 576
<br />LF of 30” diameter storm sewer, 828 LF of 36” diameter storm sewer, 321 LF of 42” diameter storm
<br />sewer, 101 LF of 48” diameter storm sewer, 116 LF of 72” diameter storm sewer the removal and
<br />replacement of 5 outfalls, and the installation of 160 – 30” diameter ADS drainage structures. The
<br />project also included C.I.P.P. lining of: 1,213 LF of 12” diameter storm sewer, 3,488 LF of 15” diameter
<br />storm sewer, 1,839 LF of 18” diameter storm sewer, 487 LF of 21” diameter storm sewer, 1,540 LF of
<br />24” diameter storm sewer, 244 LF of 30” diameter storm sewer, 482 LF of 42” diameter storm sewer,
<br />and pipe bursting consisting of: 93 LF of 12” diameter pipe with 15” pipe, 56 LF of 15” diameter pipe
<br />with 18” pipe, and 166 LF of 21” diameter pipe with 24” pipe. Restoration of the disturbed right-of-way
<br />areas was also included.
