<br />North County Neighborhood Improvements Project, NE Quadrant, Bid Package 11 | Broward County,
<br />Florida | Resident Project Representative - NCNIP Bid Package 11 included over 14,777 linear feet of
<br />new storm sewer, 12,993 linear feet of exfiltration trench, 64,000 linear feet of water main, 553 Water
<br />Services (many of these services were moved from the rear of the lot to the front), 49,700 linear feet of
<br />reclaimed water main, 796 reclaimed water services, 43,805 linear feet of gravity sewer main, 750
<br />sewer laterals, lift station, and 1,630 linear feet of force main. Main line pipe sizes ranged from 4” to
<br />48” in diameter. The project also included over 50,688 linear feet of new roadway construction,
<br />sidewalks, driveway aprons, and sodded swales. Craven Thompson provided surveying, civil engineering,
<br />landscape architecture (design, permitting & bid assistance) and CEI services on the project.
<br />Westside Drainage Infrastructure Improvements| Davie, Florida | Construction Manager
<br />The storm drainage trunk line, and discharge are connected to the CBWCD N-7 Canal via one (1) new
<br />control structure. The project required an ICPR stormwater modeling analysis. The new control structure
<br />was placed in the dry retention area near the northern end of the Covenant House Park Site and has a
<br />5.40-inch wide weir slot at invert elevation 3.55’ NAVD to limit the discharge to the canal and provides
<br />the required water quality for the Public Works Site, Covenant House Park Site, and the West Side . The
<br />North Side has its own dry retention and control structure with a weir elevation of 3.10’ NAVD, prior to
<br />discharging to the main trunk line. The storm sewer was 3,225 linear feet, the exfiltration trench was
<br />1,270 linear feet, the roadway, 6,100 linear feet and the sidewalk 2,300 linear feet
<br />Sidewalk, Swale, Drainage & Roadway Improvements (CDBG 41) | Hallandale Beach, Florida | Resident
<br />Project Representative - The project included ADA connections, details and cross-sections for the Project
<br />Area. The sidewalk was installed to complete the existing neighborhood sidewalk network. Swales were
<br />constructed adjacent to the new sidewalks and exfiltration trench was installed to eliminate nuisance
<br />flooding. Upgraded ADA pedestrian ramps and driveways, sidewalks, re-graded swales and coordination
<br />with drainage agencies. Craven Thompson provided, roadway design, drainage design, permitting,
<br />topographic survey, and construction engineering services.

<br />Park construction improvements included: an educational experience along a walking trail that
<br />emphasizes the primary environmental zones, enhanced wetland area, new landscaping and irrigation,
<br />creation of earthen berms, and a decorative fence with landscape buffer along NE 38th Street.
<br />Nova Southeastern University - SW 36th Street | Davie, Florida | Resident Project Representative
<br />Craven Thompson provided civil engineering, CEI, and miscellaneous survey services for the project. SW
<br />36th Street was designed as a two (2) lane divided boulevard from College Avenue to SW 76th Avenue
<br />within a 75-foot public right-of-way width. In connection with this improvement, any portions of SW 36th
<br />Street currently owned by NSU are being dedicated to the Town solely for roadway purposes.
<br />Cypress Park | Sunrise, Florida | Construction Manager
<br />The site plan was designed to preserve and enhance all of the existing natural resources while providing
<br />a beautiful, safe and functional passive park for the residents. The park contains a walking/jogging trail
<br />with exercise stations, an elaborately themed Splash Pad / “Sprayground”, pervious parking area, a nine-
<br />hole disc golf course, multiple custom picnic pavilions and a custom restroom facility as well as
<br />environmental educational materials. As you enter the park a recycled glass river guides the visitors to
<br />the “Sunrise Swamp”- Splash Pad and there amongst the lush native vegetation the alligators are there to
<br />spray you with water. Craven Thompson was the prime consultant responsible for the park design as well
<br />as the survey, preparation of the open-space park management plan, the design workshops, conceptual
<br />site design, construction documents and construction management.
