Mr. Pryce has been fully trained on Leica 3D
Laser Scanners and 3D Modeling He has also been developing ways to
analyze Lidar data for City-wide Storm water and Drainage studies.
Relevant Experience:
Pine Island Road Drainage As-builts for BCHCED | Broward County, Florida |
Lead Surveyor - Craven Thompson prepared Record Drawing of Drainage
Structures on Pine Island Road for Broward County Highway Construction &
Engineering Division. We established horizontal control points within the
project area. All survey control horizontal locations were tied into the State
Plane, Florida East Zone, NAD 83/90 Coordinate system.
Stormwater Master Plan Survey & GIS: (LiDAR, Geodetic Network, Stormwater
Data Collection) | Fort Lauderdale | GIS Coordinator - Mr. Pryce managed the
28,000-acre LiDAR mapping and stormwater data collection for the City of
Fort Lauderdale. Used high-density LiDAR to create a ground surface model
of the City and updated their stormwater structures and pipes in GIS from
field measurements from 3 survey crews. LiDAR was used to map 125 miles
of canals and seawalls, and prep for GIS modelers to use for taking sea-level
rise into account.
Sanitary Sewer Mapping - GIS and Surveying | Fort Lauderdale | Principal
Survey / GIS Manager - Responsible for establishing Primary and Secondary
Vertical Control with over 3000 new benchmarks for Sanitary Sewer Mapping
of the City, including As-built/Inventory 5,917 Sanitary Manholes, 190 pump
Stations, 15 meters, and 80 miles of force mains and their associated valves.
Stormwater GIS/Data Collection, Project | North Miami Beach, Florida |
Principal Survey /GIS Manager - The City is divided into six (6) zones and that
structure/pipe data was collected within each zone and identified by zone
and structure numbers. GIS data was collected and processed utilizing the
City’s existing Unit ID naming system in the geodatabase. The CTA data was
collected by a Unique ID. Craven Thompson provided the City with a copy of
the updated geodatabase with all the proposed data fields to be collected for
review. The GIS data collected consisted of: Structure type (junction, inlet,
control structure, drainage well): Pipes: Culvert and Outfalls: and Headwalls
and Seawalls.
L-12 Canal ROW Annexation Easement Sketch & Legal Description|
Greenacres, Florida | Craven Thompson & Associates, Inc. prepared a sketch
and description for a portion of the LWDD L-12 canal right-of-way between
Raulerson Drive and Military Trail as part of the effort to annex the property.
This task included calculating the area of the property description.

F | Page 55
