Coastal Systems was the civil engineer on the <br />project and none of the deficiencies described in the report resulted from the services <br />provided. To date, no litigation has been filed. The file has been closed by the insurance <br />company. <br /> <br />Eloquence on the Bay Eloquence on the Bay Eloquence on the Bay Eloquence on the Bay <br />A 558 claim has been filed in September 2015. Coastal Systems denies that any of the <br />deficiencies described in the Epic Forensics & Engineering Report resulted from the <br />services performed. Further litigation has not been filed to date. <br /> <br />Horizon EastHorizon EastHorizon EastHorizon East <br />A legal notice was received in January 2016 from a neighboring property of the 3550 S <br />Ocean Boulevard project Coastal Systems was providing services for. Coastal Systems <br />prepared design documents for a seawall replacement project at 3550 which required the <br />contractor to hire an independent testing lab to monitor vibrations during piling installation. <br />The plans also required the contractor to repair any damage that might be caused by their <br />work. Coastal Systems did not act as the contractor or testing lab and did not perform any <br />construction activities at the location. Coastal declined the offer to inspect the damage <br />described by the neighboring property and disclaims any responsibility or liability for the <br />damage. <br /> <br />Aquazul CondominiumAquazul CondominiumAquazul CondominiumAquazul Condominium <br />A 558 claim has been filed in July 2016. Coastal Systems' involvement in this project was <br />limited to environmental permitting and Coastal analysis/engineering. The company was not <br />involved in any work related to the fire suppression system. To date, no litigation has been <br />filed. The file has been closed by the insurance company. <br /> <br />Marina PalmsMarina PalmsMarina PalmsMarina Palms <br />A legal notice was received in June 2017 against the consulting team that included <br />Coastal Systems. Coastal Systems provided coastal engineering and permitting services <br />for this project. Coastal Systems provided documents associated with the Marina Palms <br />project. Further litigation has not been filed to date. This case was settled out of court in <br />April 2019. <br /> <br /> <br />Page 113
