Poor stormwater management can also lead to unnecessary flood damage, <br />creating burdensome costs to landowners and taxpayers. The civil engineers at Coastal <br />Systems have demonstrated project experience with the design and permitting of <br />stormwater management plans throughout Florida. Services are routinely provided to clients <br />in support of site development. Whether it is the implementation of an infiltration trench, an <br />outfall backflow preventor and baffle box, or a Best Management Practice (BMP) project, <br />the civil engineering team has all the necessary capabilities. Previous projects include recreational <br />shorelines, oceanfront access, and coastal dune habitat improvements, as well as <br />bayfront/Intracoastal park upgrades with natural shoreline stabilization design. These include shoreline <br />stabilization and beautification projects using structural and vegetated design solutions, <br />pedestrian trails and transportation connections, public docks and viewing platforms, kayak <br />launch areas, ADA access design, and other park and public area improvements.
