As part of this work, Ross has performed multiple workshops in person and virtually using <br />Microsoft Teams with the key City staff. Coordination includes items such as vulnerability, resilience and longevity of the overall water plant and its <br />distribution system. After the Risk and Resiliency phase completes, Ross will assist the City in creating an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) which describes <br />strategies, resources, plans, and procedures the City can use to prepare for and respond to an incident, natural or man-made, that threatens life, property, <br />or the environment. Incidents can range from small main breaks or localized flooding to large scale hurricanes, system contamination, among other <br />examples. Horizontal and vertical geometry of the roadway and new drainage improvements were located to collect and convey stormwater runoff. <br />Additionally, driveway improvements were permitted through the City of Hollywood to allow for vehicles to have an emergency driveway exit, which is <br />needed for the larger 18-wheel vehicles. A civil 3D model was created for the site which was used to provide plan profile and cross sections for the new <br />roadway. The TAP grant was for Congress Avenue from Linton Blvd to Atlantic. <br />Brandt Bridge widening for safe pedestrian crossing and traffic calming was one of the local initiatives. Alley upgrades was the second local initiative and <br />the 3rd and last initiative was for a green trail for pedestrians and biking along the Lake Worth Drainage District E-4 canal. Drainage improvements include an inline flap gate at the outfall, swale restoration and exfiltration trenches. Other assistance included providing a <br />signed and sealed drainage report to be used for the Broward County EPD SWM license and assisting with comments from Broward County stormwater <br />permit reviewers for the improvements.
