She designed the drainage and grading for the new sidewalks, parking lot and <br />pavilion and provided water and all the water and sewer for the bathroom and water fountains. As part of this project, the City Hallandale <br />requested for all of the existing sidewalks surrounding the park to be extended to 8’ sidewalks. Ms. Ross obtained permits for onsite and offsite <br />from the City of Hallandale Beach, Broward County EPD, and FDOT drainage connection permit since this site was within 500’ of an FDOT right-of- <br />way. Drainage improvements included an inline flag gate at the outfall, swale restoration and exfiltration trenches. Other assistance <br />included providing a signed and sealed drainage report to be used for Broward County EDP SWM license and assisted with comments from <br />Broward County stormwater permit reviewers for improvements. This project also included four utility crossings shown on a profile, specifications, price quotes and construction <br />observations. Contract Amount: $25,000; Role: Civil Engineer/Project Manager <br />e. <br />(1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) <br />Miami Dade County Water and Sewer Department NW 22nd Ave Wastewater <br />Collection/Transmission System Expansion and Water Distribution Systems <br />Improvement for the North Sub-Basin (D2-C-1), Miami-Dade County, FL <br />(2) YEAR COMPLETED <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />2019 - 2023 <br />CONSTRUCTION (If applicable) <br /> 2021- 2023 <br />(3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE Check if project performed with current firm <br />Ross Engineering recently won the Small Diameter Pipe Design Contract from Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department (MDWASD) for $4.4M <br />over the next 6 years. Our third task work order from MDWASD included a complete design of the water and wastewater in unincorporated Miami <br />Dade County. This design included 11,500 linear feet of new 8” and 12” sewer main, 850 linear feet of force main, and 5,800 linear feet of 8”, 10” <br />and 12” watermain along NW 22nd Ave. All the residents in that area will be required to abandon their existing septic systems and connect to the <br />new sewer lateral that will be designed for each house. Through this new project, each property will be provided a new 6” sanitary sewer lateral, <br />new water meter and water service that is connected to the new mains in the street. Monthly meetings were held to coordinate with the Project <br />Manager. Permits will be obtained through Miami Dade County DERM, Health Department and Miami County Public works. Ross Inspectors will be <br />onsite during construction to ensure that everything is installed as per approved permitted plans. Const. Cost: $10M; Role: Project Engineer <br />Page 36
