Contract Amount $3.4M for 6 <br />years with and optional 2-year extension for $1m more. <br />Tasks have included: <br />Miami Dade County Water and Sewer Department NW 22nd Ave Wastewater Collection/Transmission <br />System Expansion and Water Distribution Systems Improvement for the North Sub-Basin (D2-C-1) - Ross <br />Engineering, Inc. assisted the Miami-Dade County’s Project Manager to design the wastewater collection and <br />transmission system and improve the potable water distribution system to the commercial and industrial <br />parcels along the North Basin, north of NW 22nd Avenue. This design included 11,500 linear feet of new 8” <br />and 12” sewer main, 850 linear feet of force main, and 5,800 linear feet of 8”, 10” and 12” watermain along <br />NW 22nd Ave. All the residents in that area will be required to abandon their existing septic systems and <br />connect to the new sewer lateral that will be designed for each house. Through this new project, each property <br />will be provided a new 6” sanitary sewer lateral, new water meter and water service that is connected to the <br />new mains in the street. Const. Amount: $4.4M <br />Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department Watermain Replacement along Alhambra Circle – Ross <br />Engineering, Inc. assisted the County’s Project Manager to design 1,800 linear feet of new 8” dip watermain <br />to replace the existing 3” shallow pipeline in that area. Ross was also responsible for all the utility locates in <br />that area, MOT plans, specification for Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department, permitting and the cost <br />estimate. The watermain had to be offset from the median due to the large trees’ roots destroying the pipe. <br />Construction Amount: $315,000 <br />5.
