Duties include <br />planning, coordinating, and supervising instrumentation installation for the tunnel project, which include installing and <br />monitoring of vibrating wire strain gauges, thermistors, inclinometers, extensometers, surface monitoring points, utility <br />monitoring points, vibration monitoring and tilt sensors. <br />Gaetano was involved monitoring mass concrete pours for sign structure pile caps and columns. Mass concrete monitoring <br />included installation of IntelliRock thermocouples, monitoring of temperature readings in accordance with monitoring plan, <br />and fi eld reporting. <br />Gaetano was involved in monitoring mass concrete pours for sign structure drilled shaft foundations. Mass concrete <br />monitoring included installation of IntelliRock thermocouples, monitoring of temperature readings in accordance with <br />monitoring plan, and fi eld reporting. <br />Gaetano was involved with the installation of ten Geokon vibrating wire strain gauges for the performance of axial <br />compression pile load testing. Gaetano was the fi eld engineer throughout the performance of the standard static load test <br />and recorded all strains with Geokon vibrating wire readout unit. <br />Gaetano was involved performing pre and post-construction surveys and performing vibration monitoring during the driving of <br />concrete piles for the proposed seawall replacement. <br />37 6 <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />•
