As a newly established coastal engineering firm comprised of industry leading professionals <br />with strong credentials and years of extensive experience, CPE brings a renewed focus on providing local <br />government clients with highly specialized consulting services in support of projects that restore, manage, <br />and protect coastal resources and infrastructure. <br />Our office is located in Boca Raton, Florida, and is staffed by professionals dedicated to serving coastal <br />communities such as the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Our professional team has worked together for several <br />east coast Florida clients including the City of Deerfield Beach, City of Delray Beach, the Town of Palm <br />Beach, Palm Beach County, Martin County, and Indian River County on numerous coastal projects. This <br />experience has provided us with a comprehensive understanding of the coastal processes, storm impacts, <br />and the environment that characterizes Florida’s east coast. Our experience extends around the state to <br />the Gulf coast and further demonstrates our expertise in all aspects of coastal program management. As <br />seasoned coastal professionals, our multi-disciplinary team of engineers and coastal scientists has <br />designed, permitted, administered construction, monitored, and reviewed coastal projects of all sizes. <br />CPE offers professional coastal services detailed in the Scope of Services under the Environmental <br />Engineering category of this RFQ and is ideally structured and credentialed to assist the City. We routinely <br />provide these services as further described in this RFQ, including: <br />► Engineering design and reporting. CPE staff have engineered a variety of solutions for preserving <br />coastal environments and protecting infrastructure. Our engineers assess specific project area needs and <br />design the most effective solution to solve erosion issues. We tailor our project designs to the client’s <br />needs and align those needs to the permitting environment. Designs may incorporate beach nourishment, <br />structural stabilization, and dune construction. Based on data collected during physical monitoring <br />surveys, annual monitoring reports document the shoreline and volumetric changes of the beaches and <br />interactions with the adjacent passes and directly support the engineering, design, and planning of <br />nourishment events.
