(TSF) appreciates the opportunity to present our Letter of Interest to provide <br />Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Engineering and Inspection Services in response to the City of Sunny Isles Beach RFQ #20-07-01. We have an experienced and available team with a proven record of performing in a timely manner and within budget. TSF holds similar contracts and is currently providing Geotechnical <br />Engineering and Construction Engineering and Inspection Services to other public entities. The TSF team is confident we can meet and exceed your expectations and looks forward to the opportunity to provide the City with our experience and the highest professional support available. Key Personnel: TSF has read through and understands the scope of services associated with this contract, and feels it is well suited to TSF’s capabilities. Our team has the qualified, available and proven individuals to ensure the City’s projects are completed to the highest standards. Our staff of 49 includes: 6 Professional Engineers and 1 Ph.D. level specialists, 4 Staff Engineers, 19 field/laboratory technicians, as well as drillers and clerical/support staff. Our professional team has been working together since 2000 and is committed to providing quality, responsive service establishing a reputation for sound approaches and professional competence in a wide range of technically demanding areas. Our project team personnel also consist of senior-level staff members whose strength lies in their ability to provide a genuine insight and hands-on experience into the inner workings and site-specific concerns of the projects on which we work. TSF has a proven record of successfully responding to the demands of task-order based contracts. Our professional staff has been providing professional geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services on public contracts for over 30 years. Along with our expertise, our team brings local knowledge and experience. Within Miami-Dade County, our professional staff has completed over 750 projects such as the Sunny Isles Beach - Gateway <br />Park - Pedestrian Bridge, Samson Oceanfront Park Reconstruction, I-75 Express Segment A/B; SR-997 (Krome <br />Avenue) from SR-94/Kendall Drive to SR-90/SW 8 Street; Design-Build Rehabilitation of West Bridge and Bear <br />Cut Bridge on Rickenbacker Causeway; SR 821 (HEFT) Widening from north of SW 40th St. (Bird Road) to SR 836 <br />(Dolphin Expressway); Dolphin Stadium Ultimate All Electronic Tolling (AET); HEFT AET Phase 1 and 2 (Design <br />Build); Chlorination Facilities, Central District Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP); MDX SR 874/Don Shula <br />Expressway and SR 878/Snapper Creek Expressway ORT; MDX SR-112 Open Road Tolling (ORT) Off-System <br />Signing; Trail Glades Shooting Range; and SkyHouse at University City and numerous others. As a Project Manager, I bring over 33 years of experience managing similar type continuing, task-order based contracts for public agencies. I have been the Project Manager/Lead Geotechnical Engineer for annual contracts with over 20 agencies including Miami-Dade County, City of Miramar, City of North Lauderdale, Broward County, City of Sunrise, Palm Beach County, South Florida Water Management District, Florida Department of Transportation District 4 & 6 and other agencies. We are therefore extremely familiar with the policies/procedures, demands of task-order based contracts, working for public agencies, local subsurface conditions, and the quick mobilization of resources throughout Miami-Dade County. Licensing and Certification: TSF’s team meets and exceeds the licensing and certification requirements necessary to complete the scope of services to the highest professional standards. Our in-house testing laboratory follows American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and American Association of Highway and Transportation (AASHTO) standards, is certified by Construction Material Engineering Council, Inc.
