City of North Lauderdale RFQ # 16-06-361 RFQ# 18-05-24 Architectural and Engineering Consulting Services: Construction Testing and Inspections RFQ# 20-70-01 Continuing Professional Consulting Services currently holds technical certifications to perform Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing Services with the FDOT, Palm Beach County, and Miami-Dade County. Our personnel are ACI, FDOT CTQP, SBCCI and Nuclear Density Gauge (Troxler) certified, and can perform a number of specialty testing including roof pull tests, fire proofing tests, welding and structural inspections. Our technicians regularly work on educational, airport, and other restricted access facilities and have all successfully undergone Level 2 Screening. Project Approach and Management: Our project approach is based on a proven methodology that is executed in our daily activities. Our commitment to responsiveness, efficiency, quality, and budget guides each aspect of our approach. The majority of TSF’s daily activities are task-order based and, therefore, our firm is structured for responsiveness and capacity. As a Project Manager, I will be your single point of contact for all services. This project approach ensures that the City representatives know whom to contact for their needs, and it will also ensure that we meet those needs. Once I am contacted, I will assign the appropriate personnel to meet the project needs as outlined by the City. As TSF’s single point of contact, I will maintain the individual task-work-order tracking and, as such, I will be aware of project schedules and budgets. Individual project tasks will be managed by a qualified Professional Engineer within the TSF team. We are committed to approaching each project from a cost savings perspective without sacrificing quality, sound design. For all geotechnical projects, TSF performs a site reconnaissance and reviews existing foundation/soils data at the beginning of each job to minimize unforeseen circumstances/issues which may impact the design and overall project budget. All our design recommendations ensure that our client’s budgets are maintained or provide cost savings. TSF also utilizes a smartphone reporting system called E-Field Data. With this system, TSF’s field technicians create an electronic draft report on site, which is immediately transmitted to TSF’s Project Manager as well as City representatives for same day reporting. All draft reports will then be checked by the TSF Project Manager and QA/QC officer. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. Our firm has the staff availability to effectively respond to multiple, varied and often simultaneous task authorizations. Regardless of the number of authorizations, complexity or size, TSF has been able to consistently deliver ALL projects on or ahead of schedule.
