Harry was selected to provide professional Architectural Consulting <br />services to Florida International University for various projects with a con- <br />struction value under $2million. <br />FIU MMC MARC 3rd Floor Business Incubator: <br />Renovate approximately 7,400sf of existing office space on the third floor of <br />the MARC Building. The work involved selective demolition of existing inte- <br />rior partitions, floor finishes and ceilings. Renovation to incorporate se- <br />lected existing perimeter offices while creating a mostly open office environ- <br />ment to facilitate the meeting of small and large groups. Spaces for a small <br />meeting room, a training room/classroom, conference room and a break <br />room were incorporated in the new design. The design will include limited <br />modification to the existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protec- <br />tion systems to accommodate the new layout. <br />Construction Cost $927,989 Completion 12/2017 <br /> <br />FIU Parking Garage 6 Dan Marino Foundation Build Out: <br />The project centered on creating a learning environment for autistic indi- <br />viduals transitioning from high school to college and working environments. <br />The build out included a 3,550sf grey box located on the ground floor of <br />Parking Garage 6 to suit program requirements of the Dan Marino Founda- <br />tion. Included offices, and classrooms; all new floor, wall and ceiling treat- <br />ments; state of the art audio-visual infrastructure; a series of acoustic con- <br />trol strategies including entry vestibules and treatment to minimize rever- <br />beration. <br />Construction Cost $532,500 Completion 10/2017 <br /> <br /> <br />FIU Carnival Student Center: <br />The 3,000sf space was renovated and repurposed to create an informal <br />attractive gathering place for students. With its multi -purpose use and re- <br />source center, the Carnival Student Center has become an activity hub <br />where students meet, hold casual get-togethers and student organization <br />meetings, work on group projects, and create class presentations in the <br />adjacent computer center. Industry representatives scouting prospective <br />interns and employees conduct interviews in a fully equipped conference <br />room. Among the facility’s features is an advising center, a reading room, <br />computer workstations and a fully equipped kitchenette. <br />Construction Cost $414,636 Completion 2/2011 <br />ARCHITECT
