The Project: A lobby at 9700 South Dixie Highway as described in the Design Drawings revised on November 27, 2013. <br /> <br />II. The Program: <br /> <br />1. The program is set forth in the Design Drawings. The scope of the work includes reconfiguration of the elevator shaft as <br />well as both interior and exterior of the Lobby. <br /> <br />III. Basic Services: <br /> <br />A. Construction Documents Phase: <br />1. Based on the Design Drawings BHPA shall prepare, for approval by the Owner, Construction Documents <br />consisting of drawings with specifications setting forth in detail the architectural, electrical engineering, plumbing <br />engineering, mechanical engineering, fire protection and fire alarm requirements for construction of the Project. <br /> <br />B. Bidding and Permitting Phase: <br />1. BHPA shall provide 2 sets of signed and sealed Construction Documents to the Owners permit processor for <br />submission to the authorities having jurisdiction over the project for the issuance of a building permit. <br />2. BHPA shall respond to Requests for Information from bidders from the Owner’s Contractor. <br />3. BHPA shall assist the Owner’s permit processor with the permitting process by responding to comments from <br />the governing municipality and making adjustments required by them for compliance with the governing building <br />codes. <br /> <br />D. Construction Phase: <br />1. BHPA shall respond to Requests for Information from the Contractor and issue Supplemental Instructions to the <br />Contractor as necessary. <br />2. BHPA will review and approve, or take other appropriate action upon the contractor’s submittals, including but <br />not limited to Shop Drawings, Product Data and Samples for the purpose of checking for conformance to the <br />Contract Documents. <br />IV. Additional Services: <br /> <br />A. The services described in this Paragraph are not included in Basic Services, and they shall be paid for by the Owner as <br />provided in this Agreement, in addition to the compensation for Basic Services. However, BHPA shall notify the Owner <br />prior to commencing such services. If the Owner deems that such services described below are not required, the <br />Owner shall give prompt written notice to BHPA. If the Owner indicates in writing that all or part of such Additional <br />Services are not required, BHPA shall have no obligation to provide those:
