PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br />This new, state-of-the art 11,000-square foot fire station is LEED certified. This <br />environmentally-friendly building is highly energy efficient as it utilizes solar power to <br />heat water for the station. Station #62 was built to preserve valuable flora and fauna <br />as it maintains the remnant forest on the front of the lot. The building of the station <br />was funded from Fire District Impact Fees and houses an advanced life support engine <br />with four uniformed personnel 24/7. Hammond & Associates provided lighting plans <br />for the entire fire station and parking area. Additionally, we supplied a propane/natural <br />gas emergency generator for emergency power to the entire facility. Our low voltage <br />plans consisted of fire alarm, telephone, data, sound, and security.
