Section F – Firm References and Similar Work Completed <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Request for Qualifications No, 20-07-01 Continuing Professional Consulting Services (CCNA) <br /> <br /> <br />Miami-Dade County Internal Services Department <br /> <br />13. Project Title: ADA upgrades in the 32 story Miami Dade Stephan P. Clarke <br />Center <br />a. Client – Miami Dade County – Department of Internal Services <br />b. Description of Work: The scope of work included an analysis of all public <br />spaces in the 32 story Stephen P. Clark Center Government Center per <br />ADA Title ll compliance. The study focused on mobility, visual, auditory, <br />and cognitive disabilities. This included restrooms, corridors, lobby, <br />doorways, wayfinding, and lighting. Outside areas included all entrances <br />and general approach to the complex from parking garages, the adjacent <br />streets, as well as other significant government buildings in the district <br />including the courthouses and library. Within the main tower we <br />documented and analyzed the first three floors of the government building <br />including Commissioner Chambers and associated offices, as well as, the <br />18th floor public conference rooms and cafeteria. Per the 2 story atrium we <br />reviewed all routes within the complex, and all links to the Miami Dade <br />transportation system. The 85 page written and illustrated study included <br />graphic and photographic documentation of existing conditions and <br />contexts, access routes, barrier removal identification, standards <br />necessary to meet compliance, detailed drawing of signage at several <br />scales, restroom reconfigurations, Chamber seating reconfiguration, and <br />lighting studies. A financial/ budget analyses was created, as well as, the <br />programing and scheduling of improvements over a 9 years period based <br />on levels of priority. Innovative systems included GPS systems for the <br />visually impaired. <br />c. Year completed - 2018 <br />d. Project Title: Commission Chamber and Second Floor Public Restrooms <br />a. Client – Miami Dade County – Department of Internal Services <br />b. Description of Work: The scope of work involved the upgrades of 4 public <br />restrooms of the second floor of the SPCC government center. These <br />restrooms service the public attending the various commission meetings, <br />as well as, the commissioner’s offices and their staff. Disciplines included <br />MEP and Structural. <br />c. Year completed: 2020 <br />d.
