The projects under Task Order No. 1 are sections of force main that <br />will convey wastewater flow to and from the Southwest Booster Pump Station (SP-1). <br />SL-3A.1 is a 60-inch transmission force main proposed to convey flows from SP-1 to SL-3A.2, which is a <br />pipeline under separate contract that will continue conveyance of flow from SP-1 south. SL-3A.1 has an <br />approximate length of 8,600 linear feet. The proposed transmission main starts at SP-1, extends east along <br />SW 136 Street and then south along SW 137 Avenue before connecting to SL-3A.2 near SW 152 Street <br />and SW 137 Avenue. <br />SL-3B.1 is a 36-inch suction force main proposed to convey sewage from the Country Walk area to SP-1. <br />It has an approximate length of 7,500 linear feet. The force main begins near SW 152 Street and 137 <br />Avenue where it will connect to two existing 16-inch force mains and one 20-inch force main, extends north <br />along SW 137 Avenue, then west along SW 136 Street before connecting to the suction side of SP-1. The <br />start point for this force main is approximate. CONSULTANT will coordinate with the designer of SP-1 and <br />SL-3B (Jacobs Engineering). The connection to SP-1 shall be defined and provided with the required <br />isolation valves to allow for shutdowns during maintenance or repairs <br />Premiere Design Solutions Staff’s Task in the project was: <br />Field Investigation and Land Surveying. <br />Provide Design and Technical advisory services during the design of SL-3A1/3B.1. <br />Provide QA/QC on the engineering and survey during the project for phases 3.1 thru 3.7. <br />Provide water and sewer design engineering assistance to prepare design documents and <br />specifications. <br />Assist in obtaining project related permits. <br />Topographic ROW Surveys for Design for 60-inch & 36 <br />inch FM along SW137 Ave <br />Miami-Dade Water & Sewer Department <br />Previous ExperiencePremiere Design Solutions, Inc.
