Mr. Fernandez is a professional proficient in the use of <br />different kinds of Data Collectors, Total Station and other surveying equipment, <br />and is familiar with the process to develop Topographic Surveys and As-Built <br />Drawings Miami-Dade County and Broward County, conducting surveys of above <br />ground features and utility verifications, roadway surveys, construction stake-out <br />and utility project as-builts. Mr. Fernandez is a diligent worker with knowledge of <br />Autocad and various tools of the trade, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, <br />work on projects autonomously, and work as required to meet deadlines. <br />Mr. Fernandez is a Florida Registered Land Surveyor with extensive experience <br />in working in the City of Opa-Locka, having personally walked most of the City <br />Streets, and is constantly participating personally on field data collection of all <br />assignments under his control, qualifying him as a Surveyor with extensive field <br />knowledge and experience. <br /> <br />KEY EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />Opa-Locka Citywide CIP Water & Sewer Improvement Surveys, City of Opa- <br />Locka, FL This project includes the topographic route surveys for over 200,000 <br />LF of roadway to receive water and sewer improvements as part of the Capital <br />Improvements Program (CIP) throughout the City of Opa-Locka. PDS is part of <br />the Team to provide design criteria packages for the letting of this work. Mr. <br />Fernandez is the Lead Surveyor and is responsible for the production of survey <br />drawings, collecting all ROW data, above ground features and elevations. <br /> <br />Cairo Ln Topographic Survey, City of Opa-Locka, FL - This project was an <br />emergency project to conduct a topographic survey of 2,600LF of roadway in the <br />City of Opa-Locka. Project included the collection of all above ground features, <br />spot elevations, recording of existing conditions, and depiction of right-or-ways <br />along this corridor. Mr. Fernandez was responsible for field data collection and <br />conducted reviews of CAD drawings prior to submittal. <br /> <br />Sketches and Legal Descriptions for 11 properties, City of Opa-Locka, FL - <br />This project was a support service to the City of Opa-Locka in the development of <br />legal easement documentation for future roadway improvements planned within <br />the City. The project consists of the drafting of legal descriptions and sketches for <br />easements currently in negotiation between the City and property owners. <br />Project Included one document with legal description and sketch for each of the <br />11 properties included in the project. The legal descriptions and sketches <br />provided will be utilized by the City and will be included in their preparation of <br />documents and negotiation of easements. Mr. Fernandez was the lead surveyor <br />on this project generating plats and performing field data verification and site <br />visits to generate legal sketches and descriptions. <br /> <br />Various Roadway Intersections Surveys, Miami-Dade County, FL <br />This project was to provide roadway intersection improvements at five different <br />roadway intersections throughout Miami-Dade County. Mr. Fernandez was <br />tasked with the topographic surveys which required the completion of five <br />separated Specific Purpose Surveys with a very aggressive schedule. Each <br />location included all visible relevant topographic features along the proposed site <br />area, Right-Of-Way research and preparation, plat research and the submittal <br />drawing was required to follow standards provided by the Client, including layers, <br />line weights, colors, symbols, etc, as required by Miami-Dade County. Mr. <br />Fernandez led the field crew in the data collection and was responsible for the <br />generation of survey drawing deliverables.
