<br />Surveying Project Manager
<br />Various Roadway Intersections Surveys, Miami-Dade County, FL - This project was to provide roadway
<br />intersection improvements at five different roadway intersections throughout Miami-Dade County. Mr. Eckardt was
<br />tasked with managing the topographic surveys which required the completion of five separated Specific Purpose
<br />Surveys with a very aggressive schedule. Each location included all visible relevant topographic features along the
<br />proposed site area, Right-Of-Way research and preparation, plat research and the submittal drawing was required
<br />to follow standards provided by the Client. Mr. Eckardt provided project coordination between client and survey
<br />crew, and ensured all production was geared towards this project, with adequate staff levels, and deliver in a timely
<br />manner to meet the aggressive schedule required in this project. Mr. Eckardt also conducted QA/QC reviews on
<br />deliverables on this project.
<br />Medley Fire rescue Facility Survey, Medley, Miami-Dade County, FL - This project was to replace the perimeter
<br />fence after the existing fence was damaged by recent storm events. The project site was an existing and Active Fire
<br />rescue Facility, of about 6.4 Acres, owned and maintained by Miami-Dade County. A specific purpose survey was
<br />conducted by Mr. Eckardt was the project manager on this project and coordinated between survey crew, user
<br />department and client. Mr. Eckardt also conducted QA/QC reviews on deliverables on this project.
<br />South Bulkhead Repairs Bay 165 - 177, PortMiami, Miami, FL - The Work of this Project comprised the general
<br />construction necessary to repair a portion of the bulkhead walls in the area of South bulkhead from Bays 165-177,
<br />including the installation of king piles, concrete cap, marine fenders, water stations and mooring bollards. Mr. Eckardt
<br />was responsible for the Topographic Survey, Civil Engineering, Utility Coordination, and Construction support
<br />required for this Project. Activities performed included Survey, Drainage Design, Drainage Calculations, utility
<br />investigation, water main and water station design, permitting Support, Bid Support and Engineering During
<br />Construction Services.
<br />Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Utility Atlas Update and GIS Implementation Miami Springs, FL - Mr. Eckardt
<br />was the Project Manager for this Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) project to provide support
<br />services for implementation of the Department’s GIS system for water and sewer infrastructure, with the priority of
<br />Miami Springs acquired utilities. The main objective of this project was to compile all As-Built Information related to
<br />all water and sewer assets of Miami Springs, an area of 1,900 Acres, and upload the information digitally into the
<br />WASD GIS System. Mr. Eckardt directed a six full time GIS Specialists team working at WASD entering water and
<br />sewer utility information and provides monthly updates to WASD management staff. Project included field data
<br />collection and as-built research to collect information necessary for the input of water & sewer infrastructure.
<br />North Perry Airport Park and Ride Facility, Pembroke Pines, FL - Mr. Eckardt served as Senior Project Engineer
<br />for the development of a Park and Ride Facility at the North Perry Airport located on the northeast corner of
<br />Pembroke Road and University Drive in the City of Pembroke Pines. The site development included the surveying
<br />and design of the parking facility including a drainage and lighting system to serve riders of the Broward County
<br />Transit System, and new parking lot. Mr. Eckardt was responsible for the coordination and reviews of surveying
<br />services, design, permitting with the local governmental agencies and overseeing construction of this facility for
<br />Broward County Transit and the City of Pembroke Pines.
<br />ADA Compliant Bus Stop Improvement, Town of Miami Lakes, Miami Lakes, FL - Mr. Eckardt was the project
<br />manager and engineer of record for this project, which included the filed data collection, topographic survey, scope
<br />determination, and the generation of demolition, new construction, and maintenance of traffic plans. Project provided
<br />the client with the design for ADA improvements to 19 bus stops locations, new bus shelters, concrete pads,
<br />sidewalks and amenities and coordination with Town, Miami-Dade Transit, utility investigations & permitting.
<br />Biscayne Landing Engineering and Surveying Support, North Miami, FL - Mr. Eckardt was the Project Manager
<br />in this project to provide the determination of volume of crushed concrete material stockpiled at the Biscayne
<br />Landings construction site and volume of lakes to be filled over an abandoned Landfill. Mr. Eckardt coordinated
<br />activities between the owner, Developer and field survey crews to obtain field data of the location and elevation of
<br />the stockpiled material and lake soundings. With the information of the field data, utilizing cross 25’ sections,
<br />information was migrated into AutoCAD Civil 3D to generate a Digital Terrain Model (DTM), generating surfaces for
<br />the existing ground and for the surface area of each of the five stock pile mounds located at the construction site.
<br />DTM was used to determine volume between the two surfaces, to generate cross sections of the stock piles at
<br />constant intervals. Mr. Eckardt performed calculation reviews and signed and sealed volume reports.
