Terracon was retained by Miami Dade College to assess potential impacts to soil and groundwater from PFAS, including development of a PFAS-focused sampling plan including special and rigorous practices and procedures to prevent cross-contamination during sampling from common everyday items such as water-resistant clothing, sunscreen and others. Lucas provided P.E. oversight of the field activities and conducted regulatory interface on behalf of the client with Broward Coun ty.
