(EAC), is a FDOT certified firm with the capability to provide structural and transportation design services - including pedestrian bridge design, roadway design, maintenance of traffic, lighting design, permitting, and construction engineering inspections. EAC’s bridge certifications include major steel, concrete, and concrete segmental bridges - and EAC has assembled the premier bridge engineering team in Miami-Dade County. EAC built its reputation and business by providing design services for notable bridge structures, including pedestrian bridges. EAC has recent experience in pedestrian bridge design with the Hard Rock Stadium Pedestrian Bridges in the City of Miami Gardens. The EAC Project Team is familiar with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and FDOT Local Agency Program (LAP) requirements. In conjunction with FDOT District 6, our Project Team has experience with federally funded projects - such as the Venetian Causeway Bridges Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study, which is currently in its final stages. It will be our priority to perform all necessary due diligence to ensure that the objectives of the City of Sunny Isles Beach are attained. K.T. Lin, PE, PhD, heads EAC’s Structures Department, and leads our Project Team. He is a registered Florida Professional Engineer with over 35 years in bridge structure design - including pedestrian bridges. Mr. Lin’s expertise, experience, and leadership, as well as his commitment to public safety, will result in a successful project. The EAC Team has extensive experience on similar local and state projects. We have successfully delivered numerous Bridge Structural Engineering Projects for FDOT, Miami-Dade County DTPW, various ports, MDX, CFX, Broward, USACE, FTA, Miami Transit, and Virgin Train (US-FL). We have excellent project experience on major bridges and minor bridges, which are described below: HARD ROCK STADIUM PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AND TUNNEL, CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS EAC designed the pedestrian bridges and approach ramps using a prefabricated streel truss for the design-build project. The project required an accelerated schedule to be in time for the February 2020 Super Bowl game at the Hard Rock Stadium. The design and construction were completed in one year.
