D-25 <br />RFQ 20-10-01 Professional Engineering and Architectural Services for Pedestrian Bridge with Park Elements Across A1A at 174th St. CCNA D <br />Figure 9: Conceptual Bridge Park with Iconic Shade Structures Alternative 2 – West to East Plan View <br />Figure 10: Proposed Bridge <br />Typical Section View <br />PROPOSED BRIDGE STRUCTURE <br />The proposed bridge will have a main span of 165-ft., with a cantilevered span providing seating for pedestrians. Bridge width will vary <br />from 49-ft. to 61-ft., with a minimum vertical clearance of 21-ft. Florida-U Beams (72-in.) can be utilized to support the pedestrian <br />loads and dead loads including soils, plants, glass walls and glass railings, and miscellaneous items. The U-beams will be precast and <br />erected at night with no traffic under the beams - for public safety and ease of erection. The beams will be securely connected to the <br />supporting piers to ensure stability of the structure immediately after the erection.
