<br />Structural Engineer Provided design services for the two pedestrian bridges substructures and for the MSE wall
<br />control drawings for the ramps at two pedestrian bridges to facilitate pedestrian access to and from the Hard Rock
<br />Stadium, which can hold up to 60,000 spectators. One of the proposed bridges, with a span length of 151’-11” and a
<br />width of 14’, is over NW 199th Street on the south side of the stadium. The other, with a span length of 206’-11”and a
<br />width of 14’, is over the Turnpike Access Road on the east side.

<br />Bridge Design Engineer for the design of a service bridge approximately 200 feet length in upstream to carry light-duty
<br />vehicles and for the installation of a new trash removal system. The eight short span bridge is designed by utilizing
<br />precast slab with traffic barrier as superstructure and substructure consists of prestressed piles and end bent anchor
<br />walls.

<br />preparation and negotiation, coordination with FDOT central office for design variations and exceptions, etc. for this
<br />three-level fully directional new interchange The whole project included two main I-95 bridge widenings, two high
<br />profile bridge replacement crossing MDX rail, 11 new bridges and other miscellaneous structures. Ms. Wang was
<br />responsible for reviewing all bridge construction plans, coordinated with design consultant and central office for the
<br />design and post design issues.

<br />Bridge Design Engineer for the design of a cast in place continuous deck bridge. The overall length of bridge is 68',
<br />with a three-span 16" cast-in-place slab sitting on pile bents. Each intermediate bent consists of 6 piles. The lateral
<br />earth pressure combined with vertical loads was resisted by bent/wing wall attached to dead-man anchor wall. The
<br />challenge of this project was the post design issue. The construction experienced predrilled pile for unknown utilities,
<br />extraordinary hard soil layers and unpredicted settlement of adjacent structures, etc.

<br />Bridge Design Engineer for the design of existing bridge widening. The bridge consist of a width of 94’-8 ½”, and from
<br />left to right the typical section is made up of the following elements: a 1’-4 ½” existing traffic railing; a 10’-0” shoulder;
<br />four 12’-0” traffic lanes; two 12’-0” entrance ramp lanes; a 10’-0” shoulder; and a 1’-4” traffic railing. Bridge length and
<br />span arrangement remain unchanged. Currently, the 127’-6” long, 7” thick deck is supported by AASHTO Type II
<br />beams. The widened portion of the bridge has an 8” thick deck supported by a Florida-I 36 beams.
