Lead Designer and EOR, Pedelta is the lead designer and bridge designer for this signature DB project of the City of Toronto. The
project includes two network tied arch bridges to cross the railway corridors. The bridges are designed in duplex stainless steel on
the entire structure an unprecedented technical accomplishment in North America. The structure has an extended life cycle, is
more corrosion -resistant and requires less maintenance, reducing its overall cost. Each bridge is supported by a single arch rib
inclined outward to provide a slender, transparent, and elegant experience for users. The two arches tilt in opposite direction
expressing a modern, understated, and elegant aesthetic. Mr. Sobrino has been the design PM, bridge designer and EOR.
