The project includes two <br />a <br />network tied arch bridges to cross the railway corridors. The bridges are designed in duplex stainless steel on the entire structure <br />an unprecedented technical accomplishment in North America. The structure has an extended life cycle, is more corrosion - <br />resistant and requires less maintenance, reducing its overall cost. Each bridge is supported by a single arch rib inclined outward to <br />provide a slender, transparent, and elegant experience for users. The 116 -ft wide superstructure uses Standard Pretensioned Concrete I -Girder <br />superstructure. The bridge has 15 spans. The maximum span length is 125ft. The bridge has two 676 -ft thrust -arches, 177 -ft tall. The traffic deck has three lanes of northbound traffic with a <br />separate shared -use path on the east side and a walkway on the west side. The bridge consists of concrete deck supported by steel beams <br />with 4 spans of 22.3 ft each, simply supported. The load rating evaluation calculations were done using a refined analysis with <br />SAP2000, Fagus, and proprietary worksheets.
