The group employs a <br />staff of approximately 125 professionals who have been involved in the most intriguing projects on an <br />international scale, working either for public or private sectors. The firm is flexible, efficient and large enough to <br />meet the demands of complex projects, but with a comfortable size to maintain excellence as a priority and to <br />attract passionate engineers from around the world. Partners and key staff remain directly involved throughout <br />the life cycle of the project development. <br />Established in 1994 by Juan Sobrino, the firm is committed to technical excellence and innovative design. <br />Pedelta has current presence in five countries, including US and Canada a where it continues to expand. Juan <br />leading the operations of Pedelta in North America since 2009. Pedelta' s experience comprises more than <br />2,000 bridge designs around the world of all sizes and types, including numerous signature and complex <br />structures, landmark urban bridges, cable stayed and extradosed bridges in addition to other conventional <br />bridge structures. The firm has developed innovative bridge designs using advanced construction materials <br />(stainless steel and GFRP) in America and Europe. <br />Pedelta challenges the bridge industry by combining the most advanced technology in design and <br />construction, innovation and context's awareness. Our bridges are tailored to the unique requirements of the <br />project context. What we design results in elegant, economic, efficient, easy to build, and sustainable bridges <br />to build a legacy for generations to come. This holistic design approach is what we call "The Complex <br />Simplicity". <br />The firm has a proven record of outstanding accomplishments in Conventional, Design -Build and PPP projects, <br />where its engineers provided winning bridge engineering designs drawn from the extensive experience, skills <br />and passion for structural engineering. The firm is sensitive to the requirements of Owners and Contractors. <br />Several of Pedelta' s bridge projects have received international awards for innovation and aesthetic design. <br />Pedelta' s accomplishments are published broadly in US, Canada, and abroad in articles and books. <br />Pedelta has accumulated a notable local experience by providing innovative and cost-effective designs <br />augmented by advanced technical support to the construction of major projects across North America <br />including: <br />Pedelta, with offices in Miami Dade County, is operating in South Florida since 2006. The firm is an SBE by <br />FDOT and MDC. The firm is technically prequalified by FDOT for Group 4 — Structures (Miscellaneous, Minor <br />and Major Bridge Design: Steel, Concrete and Segmental) and Group 5.4 (Load Rating). <br />I.
