<br />APR/Quality Review. The project consist of the construction of horizontal directional drills (HDD's) at three bridge locations: Harbour
<br />Drive, Bimini Drive, and Seaview Drive Bridges. The three bridges currently include over -the -top utility crossings. Directional drills will
<br />be placed between 35 and 40 feet below the existing ground surface. Terracon provided subsurface exploration, laboratory testing, and
<br />engineering/project delivery. The scope includes: Harbour Drive Bridge - 2" force main, 4" reclaimed water main, and 6" potable water
<br />main; Bimini Drive Bridge - 8" force main, 8" reclaimed water main, and 10" potable water main; and Seaview Drive Bridge - 3" force
<br />main, 4" reclaimed water main, and 8" potable water main. The purpose of these services was to provide information and geotechnical

<br />APR/Quality Reviewer/Senior Engineer. Phase "3A-2" represents the second of several separate 1-95 Express Lanes D/B projects that
<br />will extend 95 Express. The project extends from North of Commercial Boulevard to south of SW 101' Street. The project includes
<br />converting the existing high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes to High Occupancy Toll (HOT) lanes and widening that will result in two
<br />tolled Express Lanes in each direction. Improvements also include: milling, resurfacing and overbuilding of the 1-95 General Use Lanes;
<br />roadway widening guardrail; barrier wall; attenuators; shoulder gutters; drainage; 8 bridge widenings; one new pedestrian bridge,
<br />d.
<br />temporary and permanent retaining walls; sound barrier walls; sign structures; portable traffic monitoring sites; tolling gantries and
<br />associated infrastructure including toll equipment buildings; ITS; signing and pavement markings; express lane delineators;
<br />signalization; lighting; ramp (metering) signals; utility relocation; landscaping; and any additional items required to provide a complete
<br />highway system As a member of the D/B team, Terracon performed soil exploration, geotechnical classification laboratory testing and
<br />standard foundation studies. Terracon was responsible for providing construction materials engineering, testing, inspections, and
<br />Contractor Quality Control (CQC) services for the Contractor, Prince Contracting, LLC. Terracon's CTAP -certified technicians performed
<br />field sampling and testing as well as laboratory testing services for soils and concrete. The scope of work also included soils testing for
<br />embankment and walls, concrete testing for drilled shafts and bridge decks, auger cast pile testing, pull testing and non-destructive
<br />testing and inspections such as Crosshole Sonic Logging (CSL) testing and Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA) testing. Firm's Geotechnical
