A new bridge will be constructed and will be supported by shallow foundations at each end bent, and the existing bridge <br />will be demolished, including existing foundations. The new foundations will be 48 feet long by 8 feet wide located at each end bents. <br />Terracon performed subsurface exploration (advancement of test borings and percolation tests) and geotechnical engineering services <br />in order to provide relative information and geotechnical engineering recommendations in relation to subsurface soil conditions, <br />groundwater conditions, site preparation and earthwork, excavation considerations, foundation design and construction, lateral earth <br />pressure, slope stability, and hydraulic conductivity value.
