Kiml y> HornPage 2 of 5 <br />Exhibit A to Amendment Number 02 <br />dated December 21, 2020 <br />PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br />This additional scope of services is for the development of civil engineering documents related to the <br />construction of a new pedestrian bridge within the Collins Avenue right of way and directly adjacent to <br />the City of Sunny Isles Beach Government Center. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant will perform the following Additional Services: <br />TASK 1 — 90% CONTRACT DOCUMENTS SUBMITTAL PACKAGE (COLLINS AVENUE) <br />During this task, Kimley-Horn responded to and addressed FDOT's comments on the civil <br />engineering 60% Contract Documents submittal package. Once the FDOT/Agency comments were <br />addressed, the 90% Contract Documents were submitted to the Client for inclusion in the Client's <br />overall 90% CD submittal package that was submitted by the Client to FDOT. <br />This task includes attendance to one (1) coordination meeting/tail with the Client/FDOT/Agency <br />reviewers as well as comment responses for one round of reasonable comments to the current <br />design without major design changes. Both additional meetings with reviewers and new, additional <br />comments, after the first review, and deviating from the original, intended design, will be addressed <br />as an additional service with written authorization from the Client, The 90% civil engineering contract <br />documents were submitted to the Client as an electronic PDF file. <br />TASK 2 — FINAL CONTRACT DOCUMENTS SUBMITTAL PACKAGE (COLLINS AVENUE) <br />During this task, Kimley-Horn will respond to and address FDOT/Agency review comments on the <br />civil engineering 90% Contract Documents submittal package. Once FDOT's comments are <br />addressed, the Final Contract Documents will be submitted to the Client for inclusion in the Client's <br />overall Final CD submittal package to be submitted by the Client to FDOT. <br />This task includes attendance to one (1) coordination meeting with the Client/FDOT/Agency <br />reviewers as well as comment responses for one round of reasonable comments to the current <br />design without major design changes. Both additional meetings with reviewers and new, additional <br />comments will be addressed as an additional service with written authorization from the Client. The <br />final civil engineering contract documents will be submitted to the Client as an electronic PDF file. <br />TASK 3 — EAST LANDING ON-SITE CIVIL ENGINEERING DOCUMENTS <br />The proposed pedestrian bridge will require harmonization of the bridge landing with the existing beach <br />access walkway and the private drive of the east property located at 18001 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles <br />Beach, FL 33160. Additionally, isolated stormwater drainage system will also be required serve the <br />pedestrian bridge. This task includes the preparation of the stormwater management calculations and <br />report. This task is limited to the to the revisions of the plans listed below and located within the east <br />property along the east side of Collins Avenue. Design and relocation of existing drainage system <br />affected by the proposed bridge landing are not part of this scope of services. During this task, Kimley- <br />
