<br />01519 - 2/2 <br />3.05 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MARKINGS: Pavement markings shall conform to the <br />requirements of FDOT Standard Specification Section 102-3.2.5. and the Manual of Traffic <br />Control and Safe Practices for Street and Highway Construction. <br />3.06 MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC: All lanes that are being used for the maintenance of traffic <br />shall be adequately maintained in accordance with FDOT Standard Specification Section <br />102-2.1 and 102-2.2. <br />3.07 TRAFFIC CONTROL: The Contractor shall provide, install, and maintain adequate traffic <br />control devices, warning devices, and barriers in accordance with FDOT Standard <br />Specification Section 102-3, Traffic Control, and applicable sections of the Manual of <br />Traffic Control and Safe Practices for Street and Highway Construction. <br />3.08 REMOVAL: The roadway base, surface, and embankments shall be removed to the <br />original grades and lines or those required on the Drawings. The asphalt pavement shall <br />be disposed of off-site. All existing pavement, shoulders, drainage, and other <br />appurtenances shall be restored to the condition prior to the start of construction. <br />3.09 SIGNAGE REMOVAL: If removing existing traffic signage along the roadways, the <br />Contractor shall be responsible for providing temporary signage during construction. The <br />temporary signage shall be visible to the motorized vehicles. Once construction is <br />completed, the Contractor shall be responsible for relocating the existing signage in the <br />same pre-construction location. <br />3.10 ROADWAY RESTORATION: Roadways damaged by the Contractor shall be restored to <br />their original condition by the Contractor subject to approval of the Owner or Engineer. <br />3.11 TEMPORARY WALKS AND DRIVEWAYS: All temporary walks and driveways shall be <br />removed by the Contractor prior to final acceptance and the ground returned to its original <br />condition, unless otherwise required by the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />END OF SECTION <br />
