,;'r t" <br />' Y or S'iyiA � <br />3.7 PARTS SUPPLY <br />The Proposer shall furnish all parts and supplies necessary to maintain and repair vehicles and <br />equipment at the fleet facility. Parts installed by the Proposer shall meet OEM specifications, <br />and shall be warranted accordingly. Parts installed on vehicles and equipment shall be identified <br />by part number and cost on the work order for the appropriate assignment. The Proposer shall <br />have available to the City an audit report showing part costs and a pricing comparison of at least <br />three local suppliers. <br />3.8 INVENTORY <br />The Proposer shall maintain an adequate parts inventory as part of the Proposer's target costs. <br />A management information system shall be used to monitor the parts inventory and track parts <br />usage on the City's fleet. At a minimum, the electronic system shall be capable of generating a <br />complete inventory by part number and part cost, and a usage rate history for each part <br />normally stocked. Respondents shall describe their program for inventory control, ability to <br />provide volume purchasing programs, and plans to utilize local vendors and suppliers, as <br />appropriate, in their Proposals to the City. <br />3.9 PERFORMANCE STANDARDS <br />The Contractor needs to be fully aware of the fact that City departments that rely on vehicles to <br />perform their functions operate in a highly competitive environment and time for maintenance <br />and repair work is of the essence. With this in mind, the Contractor will meet the performance <br />standards noted below during the term of this agreement. <br />The Contractor will be expected to maintain these performance standards at all times. Labor <br />disputes, strikes, and other events, except those beyond the Contactors' control will not relieve <br />the Contractor of meeting these standards. <br />3.10 VEHICLE TURNAROUND TIME STANDARDS <br />The following percentages of all maintenance and repair work must be completed within 24 <br />hours of the vehicles delivery to the garage or within 24 hours of notification of maintenance <br />requirements (excluding weekends and non -working holidays): <br />General Fleet Vehicles 85% of the time <br />One -Ton or Smaller Vehicles 80% of the time <br />Larger than One -Ton Vehicles 75% of the time <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach I Invitation to Bid No. 22-08-01 M <br />
