RESOLUTION NO. 2026 - <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE SUPPORT AGREEMENT <br />WITH CENTRALSQUARE TECHNOLOGIES, LLC., FOR MAINTENANCE AND <br />SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES FOR CERTAIN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES, IN <br />AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE MILLION THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY-NINE <br />THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY-FOUR DOLLARS AND SEVENTY-SEVEN CENTS <br />($1,379,484.77); AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS <br />NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, Chapters 119 and 286 of the Florida Statutes provide certain exemptions from <br />public disclosure of certain goods and services pertaining to cybersecurity; and <br />WHEREAS, on October 16, 2025, via Resolution No. 2025-3908, the City Commission of the <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach (the "City") approved the expenditure of budgeted funds with <br />CentralSquare Technologies, LLC. (the "Vendor") for maintenance and subscription services for <br />certain information technology services ("Products"); and <br />WHEREAS, on November 14, 2025, the City entered into a one (1) year Support Agreement <br />with the Vendor for the Products, in an amount not to exceed $125,000.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the Vendor has enhanced and expanded the functionality of its Products <br />("Enhancements"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Vendor has provided a sole source letter confirming that its Products are <br />uniquely designed and are not available from other vendors in a comparable form; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 62-13(F) of the City's Code of Ordinance, supplies, <br />equipment or services available from a sole source only may exempted from the bidding <br />requirements of Chapter 62 of the City's Code of Ordinances; and <br />WHEREAS, the Vendor has provided the City with a five (5) year proposal for the <br />Enhancements with a revised fee scheduled commencing in October 2026, as follows: Year 1 <br />$124,316.34; Year 2: $275,897.10; Year 3: $316,824.01; Year 4: $326,328.73; Year 5: $336,118.59; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to approve a First Amendment to the Support <br />Agreement with the Vendor, in an amount not to exceed One Million Three Hundred Seventy -Nine <br />Thousand Four Hundred Eighty -Four Dollars and Seventy -Seven Cents ($1,379,484.77), <br />commencing October 2026 for a period of five (5) years, attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />@BCL@E4140399 Page 1 of 2 <br />672 <br />
