Bid Title: Motor Coach Transportation Bid No. FY23-029-1 <br />The School Board of Broward County, Florida Page 13 of 26 <br />SECTION 6 - ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT & DIVERSITY COMPLIANCE (EDDC) <br />SUPPLIER DIVERSITY OUTREACH PROGRAM (SDOP) <br />AFFIRMATIVE PROCUREMENT INITIATIES (API) <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT & DIVERSITY COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT (EDDC): SBBC has implemented a Supplier Diversity Outreach Program <br />(SDOP) as part of the SBBC's competitive solicitation and contracting activity in accordance with School Board Policy 3330, and the results of the <br />2023 Disparity Study conducted by Keen Independent Research (KIR). The provisions of the Policy shall apply to all competitive solicitations for <br />Construction, Architectural & Engineering, Professional Services, Goods and Other Services, and any resulting contract documents, including change <br />orders and amendments. For information on E/S/V/M/WBE Certification, contact The Economic Development and Diversity Compliance Department <br />at 754-321-0770 or visit www.browardschools.com/eddc. <br />Nondiscrimination: Each Proposer/Bidder hereby certifies and agrees that the following information is correct: In preparing its response to this <br />solicitation, the Proposer/Bidder has considered all proposals submitted from qualified, potential subcontractors and suppliers and has not engaged in <br />"discrimination" as defined in School Board Policy 3330 — Supplier Diversity Outreach Program, Section D.1.; to wit: discrimination in the solicitation, <br />selection, or commercial treatment of any subcontractor, vendor, supplier, or commercial customer on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry or <br />national origin, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation or on the basis of disability or other unlawful forms of discrimination. Without limiting the <br />foregoing, "discrimination" also includes retaliating against any person or other entity for reporting any incident of "discrimination." Without limiting any <br />other provision of the solicitation for responses to this Bid, it is understood and agreed that if this certification is false, such false certification will <br />constitute grounds for SBBC to reject the response submitted by the Proposer/Bidder on this solicitation and terminate any contract awarded based <br />on the response as a condition of submitting a response to SBBC, the Proposer/Bidder agrees to comply with SBBC's Commercial Nondiscrimination <br />Policy as described under its School Board Policy 3330. <br />Industry —Specific Remedial Affirmative Procurement Initiative (API): Goal Setting Committee (GSC) has assigned the following API: <br />For contracts related to the purchase of Goods, the Bidder Pricing Preference applies: THIS WILL BE PROVIDED AFTER THE GSC HAS <br />APPROVED THE API. <br />Documentation and Certification: All bidder/proposer(s) must submit Document 00471 (see Attachment A) at the time of submission. All Prime <br />bidder/proposer(s) committing to E/SN/M/WBE participation must also include Doc. 00475 and 00470 along with a copy of the <br />subcontractor/subconsultant(s) EDDC Certificate. <br />To access the list of current E/SN/M/WBE certified firms and information on how to become certified, visit https://www.browardschools.com/sdop. <br />Reporting Requirements: <br />MANDATORY - Post -Award Monthly Compliance Monitoring/Reporting Requirements: <br />Proposals that result in contracts being awarded must fully participate and comply with the EDDC Program Requirements. <br />If awarded, ALL awardees shall log into the SDOP Management System powered by B2Gnow. <br />Prime vendors must report all revenue and payment sources generated from the contract, and all payments made to E/S/V/M/WBE subcontractors <br />must be reported by the 10th of every month. <br />NOTE: In addition, any changes to the utilization and/or subcontracting plan, as well as any substitutions, deletions, and/or terminations, must be <br />approved in advance and in writing by the EDDC Department. <br />Broward County Public Schools Is An Equal Opportunity/Equal Access Employer <br />Page 13 <br />
