Sunny Isles Beach – Specific Design & Operational Requirements <br />This section consolidates the specific requirements unique to the City of Sunny Isles Beach and confirms <br />our compliance with each. <br /> <br />10.1 Inclusive, Non-Holiday-Specific Design <br />• Holiday lighting will be installed in neutral, non-holiday-specific colors. The exact color <br />temperature will be submitted to the City for evaluation (RFP §2.1; Addendum 3, Q2/Q6/Q24). <br />• The design will feature an inclusive variety of symbolic holiday lights and decorations (RFP §2.1). <br />• A menorah will be displayed alongside any Christmas tree(s) in the design (Addendum 3, Q25). <br />The City's own outdoor menorah will be installed by the City alongside the Christmas tree(s), <br />and the proposed design will not duplicate the City-owned three indoor menorahs or two <br />outdoor menorahs (RFP §2.1; Addendum 3, Q11/Q12). <br /> <br />10.2 Coastal Environment — Wind, Salt, and Corrosion <br />• Per Addendum 3, Q9, coastal/environmental requirements (wind load, corrosion resistance, salt <br />exposure) have been built into our material selection, hardware specification, and inspection <br />cadence. <br />• Marine-grade hardware where applicable; weather-sealed splices; vinyl-jacketed strand wiring. <br />• Mounting methodology designed for the 22' standard A1A pole height and consistent with the <br />wind exposure typical of a barrier-island corridor (Addendum 3, Q14). <br />• Pre-storm secure-down checklist and post-storm inspection sequence — primary historical <br />failure mode in Sunny Isles is weather-related (Addendum 3, Q10). <br /> <br />10.3 Florida Electrical Contractor Licensing <br />• Per Addendum #2, Revision 1, the Florida Certified Electrical Contractor license is NOT required <br />to perform this scope. <br />• All work will be performed in compliance with the National Electric Code, the Florida Building <br />Code, and applicable City and Miami-Dade County requirements. <br />• If any portion of the work would require a licensed Florida EC, Be The Light Decor will engage a <br />Florida-licensed Certified Electrical Contractor as a subcontractor and submit the license to the <br />City prior to commencement.
