The Proposer must demonstrate that any of its existing contracts with clients will not materially <br />interfere with or create a conflict of interest in its advocacy efforts on behalf of the City with any agency <br />within Miami -Dade County or the State of Florida. <br />d. The Proposer shall provide reference letters for no less than three (3) government clients in which the <br />Proposer served as lobbyists for projects similar in size and scope within the last five (5) years, 2020 - <br />2025. Please note that the references must be for the same projects in response to MQR "a" above. <br />On February 18, 2026, the city received four (4) electronic proposals: GrayRobinson, Pittman Law <br />Group, Ronald L. Book, P.A., and Rubin, Turnbull & Associates. Following the RFP opening, three firms <br />withdrew their proposal. <br />On March 3, 2026, the City held a Sunshine Evaluation Committee meeting to evaluate the remaining <br />one (1) proposal. The committee recommended to the City Manager to award a contract to Ronald L. <br />Book, P.A. <br />Following the submittal of the recommendation, the City Manager is recommending to award and enter <br />into agreement with the highest ranked responsive and responsible firm for lobbyist services with <br />Ronald L. Book, P.A. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: .. <br />The City realizes annual cost savings of approximately $5,000 as a result of the RFP process. <br />This cost is inclusive of all related expenses.
