LMS 2025-2030 <br />Municipal Participation <br />PART 1: THE STRATEGY <br />Within Miami -Dade County the following municipalities are active participants of the LMS <br />Working Group. <br />City of Aventura <br />City of Homestead <br />City of O a-locka <br />Bal Harbour Village <br />Village of Key Biscayne <br />Villa a of Palmetto Bay <br />Town of Bay Harbor Islands <br />Town of Medley <br />Villa - a of Pinecrest <br />Village of Biscayne Park <br />City of Miami. <br />Citv of South Miami <br />City of Coral Gables <br />City of Miami Beach <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach ._ <br />Town of Cutler Bay <br />City of Miami Gardens <br />Town of Surfside <br />City of Doral <br />Town of Miami Lakes <br />City of Sweetwater <br />Village of El Portal <br />Miami Shores Village <br />Village of Virginia Gardens <br />Florida City <br />City of Miami Springs <br />City of West Miami <br />Town of Golden Beach <br />City of North Miami <br />Indian Creek Village <br />City of Hialeah Gardens <br />North Bay Village <br />Miami -Dade County (unin- <br />cor orated areas <br />Cit of Hialeah <br />City of North Miami Beach <br />For the remainder of this document municipalities will be referred to by only the name and <br />not the full title (e.g. City of Coral Gables will be referred to as Coral Gables). <br />LMS Subcommittees <br />To streamline the LMSWG's activities, various subcommittees may be formed as needed <br />to address an area of concern. The formation and disbandment of subcommittees is done <br />in correlation with trending issues that are addressed by the LMSWG members. A list of <br />possible subcommittees can be found in Part 4 Appendix C. <br />Meetings <br />The LMSWG meets once each calendar quarter and the LMSSC and LMS Subcommit- <br />tees meet as needed. Meeting announcements are posted on the LMS webpage, and <br />emails are sent to the LMSDistribution List which is maintained by the LMS Chair and <br />Co -Chair. <br />The representatives are encouraged to notify the public or other interested parties about <br />meeting dates at least 30-days prior to each meeting. Meeting times, dates and locations <br />will be posted on the LMS website: https://www.miamidade.gov/_global/emergency/local- <br />mitigation-strategy.page <br />Meeting notes and attendance records are kept by the LMS Chair and Co -Chair and are <br />available upon request. <br />P1-7 <br />
