REASONS: In 2022, through Resolution No. 2022-3322, the City purchased LPR and CCTV equipment from Millennium Products, Inc. via GSA Contract No. GS-07F-0031W. The original procurement included a three-year maintenance agreement, during which Vetted Security Solutions provided preventative maintenance and technical support services for the equipment. To avoid any disruption to the City's surveillance system and to ensure continued public safety, following the initial three-year term, the City approved a one-year agreement with Vetted Security Solutions as a waiver of competitive bidding, pursuant to Resolution No. R2025-3865, for the provision of ongoing maintenance services. As the maintenance term expires August 24, 2026, the Police Department recommends entering into a new Service Agreement with Vetted Security Solutions for continued support. Given Vetted's extensive involvement in the installation and integration of the City's public safety technology infrastructure, Vetted possesses specialized knowledge of the system's design, configuration, and operation, making it uniquely qualified to provide these services. Continued support will help ensure system reliability, maximize operational uptime, minimize service disruptions, and enhance the Police Department's ability to effectively protect residents, visitors, and City assets.
