On Dodge Island we were responsible for <br />identifying and sizing approximately 500 existing trees that <br />were within our limits of work. As a result of the new tunnel <br />and roadways, many of the existing trees had to either be <br />removed or relocated. Our office was responsible for <br />permitting all proposed removals and mitigating <br />approximately 200 trees that had to be removed. Since this <br />was a design-build project, our office had to work within a <br />given budget and base our design on a conceptual plan that <br />had been initially developed. Based on the concept plan, we <br />developed landscape and irrigation plans at the 30%, 60%, <br />90% and 100% milestones. In addition we attended <br />numerous meetings and presentations with local officials and <br />key team members to ensure the quality of the work our <br />office developed and for coordination purposes. <br /> <br />Name of Key Individuals <br />Involved in the project: Laura M.
