CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Samson at 7:04 p.m. with the following <br /> officials present: <br /> Mayor David Samson <br /> Vice Mayor Irving Turetsky <br /> Commissioner Danny Iglesias <br /> Commissioner Lila Kauffman <br /> Commissioner Connie Morrow <br /> Acting City Manager Jack Neustadt <br /> City Attorney Lynn Dannheisser <br /> City Clerk Richard Brown-Morilla <br /> 2. Add-on Item: DESIGNATION OF ACTING CITY MANAGER <br /> ACTION: Mayor Samson began the meeting by announcing that Jim DiPietro had <br /> submitted his written resignation as City Manager, and in doing so had named Jack <br /> Neustadt as the Acting City Manager. City Attorney Lynn Dannheisser suggested a <br /> motion be made to name the "Acting City Manager". Based upon Mayor Samson's <br /> nomination of Jack Neustadt, Commissioner Kauffman moved and Commissioner <br /> Morrow seconded a motion to confirm the appointment of Jack Neustadt as the <br /> Acting City Manager. The motion was unanimously approved by a voice vote of 5-0. <br /> Mayor Samson and Acting City Manager Neustadt explained that the City would be <br /> advertising for a permanent City Manager and County Manager Merrit Steirheim had been <br /> asked to suggest individuals to serve on a City Manager Screening Committee. City <br /> Manager Neustadt said he looked forward to returning to his position as Finance Director <br /> at the conclusion of the City Manager selection process. <br /> 3.
