Mayor Samson clarified that the boardwalk would be a public boardwalk that the public could enter from the east side of the Fire Station site and they could then walk along the water the length of the property and then out to North Bay Road. Mayor Samson said that if tennis courts were put in any lighting that was placed could not inconvenience the neiehbors. Vice-Mayor Turetsky moved and Commissioner Kauffman seconded a motion to approve the request with the conditions suggested by staff and made during the meeting. The motion was approved by a roll call vote of 5-0 in favor as Resolution No. 99-Z-35. Mayor Samson said that at the 2°d Budget Hearing on September 16, 1999, he would be asking to purchase a camera, screen, and wireless microphone to assist in public presentations before the City Commission, to facilitate the ability of the public to see the diagrams or models at the same time that they are being shown to the Commission. B. Mayor Samson said that the Citizens Planning Advisory Committee will convene soon. 5.
