Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary <br />Conditions and Division 1 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br /> <br />1.2 <br /> <br />SUMMARY <br />A. This Section includes electrical identification materials and devices required to comply <br />with ANSI C2, NFPA 70, OSHA standards, and authorities having jurisdiction. <br /> <br />1.3 <br /> <br />SUBMITTALS <br />A. Product Data: For each electrical identification product indicated. <br /> <br />B. Schedule of Nomenclature: An index of electrical equipment and system components used in <br />identification signs and labels. <br /> <br />C. Samples: For each type of label and sign to illustrate color, lettering style, and graphic <br />features of identification products. <br /> <br />1.4 <br /> <br />QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Comply with ANSI C2. <br /> <br />B. Comply with NFPA 70. <br /> <br />C. Comply with ANSI A13.1 and NFPA 70 for color-coding. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.1 <br /> <br />RACEWAY AND CABLE LABELS <br />A. Comply with ANSI A13.1, Table 3, for minimum size of letters for legend and for mini <br /> mum length of color field for each raceway and cable size. <br />1. Color: Black letters on orange field. <br />2. Legend: Indicates voltage and service. <br /> <br />B. Adhesive Labels: Preprinted, flexible, self-adhesive vinyl with legend over-laminated <br /> with a clear, weather- and chemical-resistant coating. <br /> <br />C. Pretensioned, Wraparound Plastic Sleeves: Flexible, preprinted, color-coded, acrylic <br /> band sized to suit the diameter of the line it identifies and arranged to stay in place by <br /> pretensioned gripping action when placed in position. <br /> <br />D. Colored Adhesive Tape: Self-adhesive vinyl tape not less than 3 mils thick by 1 to 2 <br /> inches wide. <br />E. Underground-Line Warning Tape: Permanent, bright-colored, continuous-printed, vinyl <br /> tape.
