Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions <br />and Division 1 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br />RELATED DOCUMENTS <br />1.2 <br />A. This Section includes transient voltage surge suppressors for low-voltage power, control, and <br />communication equipment. <br />SUMMARY <br />B. Related Sections include the following: <br />1. Division 16 Section "Wiring Devices" for devices with integral transient voltage surge sup <br /> pressors. <br />2. Division 16 Section "Panelboards" for factory-installed transient voltage surge suppressors. <br />3. Division 16 Section "Switchboards" for factory-installed transient voltage surge suppressors. <br />1.3 <br />A. Product Data: For each type of product indicated. Include rated capacities; shipping, installed, <br /> and operating weights; furnished specialties; and accessories. <br />SUBMITTALS <br />B. Product Certificates: Signed by manufacturers of transient voltage suppression devices, certifying <br /> that products furnished comply with the following testing and labeling requirements: <br />1. UL 1283 certification. <br />2. UL 1449 listing and classification. <br />C. Field Test Reports: Written reports of tests specified in Part 3 of this Section. Include the follow <br /> ing: <br />1. Test procedures used. <br />2. Test results that comply with requirements. <br />3. Failed test results and corrective action taken to achieve requirements. <br />D. Maintenance Data: For transient voltage suppression devices to include in maintenance manuals <br /> specified in Division 1. <br />E. Warranties: Special warranties specified in this Section. <br />1.4 <br />A. Testing Agency Qualifications: Testing agency as defined by OSHA in 29 CFR 1910.7 and that is <br /> acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction. <br />QUALITY ASSURANCE
